A user-friendly interface will enable you to think about what you want to do and then look around for a way to do it.

Fun fact: User-friendly interfaces are carefully designed with the needs and expectations of the end users (i.e. common folk who are going to be using the gosh darn thing) in mind. 

User friendly signifies that the item in question is intuitive, easy to understand, and navigate, enabling users to accomplish tasks with minimal effort. Source: UXPin
