Notebook computers have built-in monitors (or displays).
A document was visually created using a word processing app on a computer (outputted on the computer monitor) and then sent to a printer (outputted onto paper).

storage device

Fun fact: External storage devices make it easy to copy large files (e.g. videos and multimedia presentations) between devices.

External storage devices can also be used to back up your important files — although it should be noted that external storage devices can become inoperable (i.e. turn into pumpkins 🎃) for no particular reason.

This flash drive can only be inserted into a USB port.
